The Knicks are considering a Hall of Fame name with organizational ties in their coaching search after the firing of Tom Thibodeau.

Kidd and Rockets head coach Ime Udoka have both garnered interest from the Knicks, despite currently working for other teams. Stein previously reported that an interview request to the Rockets would “categorically ... be rejected” and that “a similar response would be expected from the Mavericks.”
